ADT+, the new smart home app from ADT, is already making a name for itself across the industry.
Ahead of the official launch set for February, ADT+ was named a CES 2023 Innovation Award Honoree for its smart home technology. The CES Innovation Awards program honors outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products. The program recognizes honorees in a multitude of consumer technology product categories and distinguishes the highest-rated in each.
“We’re so proud to receive this recognition from CES for our new product platform, ADT+. The platform was built from thousands of hours of customer research to provide customers with a more advanced and seamless experience across security, life safety, home automation and analytics through a common application,” said Raya Sevilla, Chief Technology Officer at ADT.
In addition to the nod from CES, ADT’s Experience Lab has received a Bronze Spark Award in the Product category, as part of the Spark Design Awards. ADT and other top brands and international designers went head-to-head in the highly competitive competition. The 16th Annual Spark Awards awarded 89 Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze winners selected by a prestigious international jury.
“The honor of receiving a Spark Design Award signifies advancement and innovation. ADT+ embodies a design that offers a great home security solution for the customer. Our team is very proud of this recognition,” said Abhi Bhattacharya, Senior Director, User Experience Design at ADT.
With ADT+, ADT customers will be able to easily access and control their ADT devices, including a base, keypad, motion sensors, door and window sensors, smart bulbs, smart locks, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors and compatible Google Nest Cams and Thermostats, through an intuitive app experience. The new ADT+ app represents a historic shift in home security and beyond, empowering DIY customers in their self-setup and seamlessly integrating multiple smart devices with professional monitoring and proactive mobile alert capabilities.
The app will first launch for new self-setup customers in February, and expand to current customers and new professionally installed customers later in 2023.
