As part of its continued mission to support veterans and military families, ADT has announced two new partnerships with Oplign and Orion Talent — organizations dedicated to connecting service members, veterans and their families with meaningful career opportunities.

In 2024, more than 10% of ADT’s new hires were veterans. With the addition of Oplign and Orion Talent to ADT’s talent acquisition strategy, the company continues to focus on building a workforce that honors military experience and fosters a culture of service, leadership and excellence.

Making it easier for veterans to discover the right career at ADT

In partnership with Oplign, ADT is launching a new military skills alignment tool on its career site, designed to help veterans and transitioning service members find the right fit at ADT. For job seekers and candidates, this means being able to translate their military experience into civilian job matches — helping them discover roles in which their skills best fit.

For ADT recruiters, this means being able to effectively source veteran talent via enhanced technology that aligns military backgrounds with the specific needs of ADT teams across the country, helping improve both efficiencies and the candidate experience.

This initiative is part of a six-month pilot designed to evaluate how technology can streamline the hiring process while opening doors for even more veterans to join ADT’s mission of helping keep people safe.

Expanding reach through military career fairs and base outreach

In partnership with Orion Talent, ADT is expanding its presence across 16 military bases and at more than 30 veteran career fairs in 2025. These events will introduce ADT’s career opportunities, culture and benefits to veterans, military spouses and student veterans where they live, work and transition to civilian life.

At ADT, we value the leadership, discipline and service that veterans bring to our team. Our partnerships with Oplign and Orion Talent are designed to simplify the hiring process and ensure military families have access to meaningful careers. We are proud to support veterans as they transition to civilian roles and excited about the impact they’ll continue to make here.

Once employees enter the ADT workforce, those in the veteran community have the ability to join the Veterans Business Employee Resource Group (BERG), a supportive network where employees can connect, share experiences and access resources to help them succeed. The Veterans BERG plays an essential role in fostering an inclusive culture where members feel welcomed, heard and empowered.

"Transitioning from military to civilian life is a journey, and the BERG is a place where that journey finds purpose. It’s a community where bonds endure, leadership flourishes and new careers take flight," said Russell Cross, an ADT Resale Sales Manager and an ADT Veterans BERG Leader.

The partnerships with Oplign and Orion Talent represent a continuation of ADT’s legacy of service and commitment to veterans. Those who have served in our armed forces bring invaluable experience, discipline and leadership to the workplace, and ADT is proud to support their transition to meaningful careers that protect and empower others.

ADT is committed to building a diverse and mission-driven workforce — one that reflects the values of the military community and strengthens ADT’s role as a trusted security partner in homes and communities nationwide.
